All Gemini human sera is sourced from carefully screened donors
at FDA-licensed collection centers. These donors must pass strict
requirements for hematocrit, total protein, and must be in good
health. They are additionally tested for a number of diseases,
screened for ALT (alanine transaminase), found to be negative for
Indirect Coombs, and are found to be negative for all
FDA-approved viral markers. Gemini offers an extensive line of
human serum and plasma products.
Gemini’s off-the-clot human serum AB is collected from normal
healthy male donors at FDA-licensed facilities in the United
States. As a nutural off-the-clot product, this material contains
no anticoagulants/preservatives. All donor units are tested for
viral markers and found to be non-reactive.
Sterile-filtered
Ships on dry ice. Store frozen at -20 to -10°C
GemCell ™ human serum AB is collected from healthy male donors of
the AB serotype at FDA-licensed facilities in the United States.
This material is defibrinated from source plasma AB. All donor
units are tested for viral markers and found to be non-reactive.

This product is collected in FDA-licensed collection facilities.
The whole blood is less than 30 days old at the time of plasma
harvest. Whole blood (with anticoagulant) is spun in a centrifuge
to separate the plasma from the formed elements. The plasma is
then drawn off and frozen. All donors are tested for viral
markers (HBsAg, Anti-HBc, HCV, Anti-HCV, HIV-1, Anti-HIV-1 and
-2, and Anti-HTLV-1 and -2) and found to be nonreactive. All
donors are routinely screened for syphilis.

Source plasma is collected by plasmapheresis in FDA-licensed
plasma collection facilities. Plasmapheresis is a mechanical
process by which plasma is separated from donated whole blood,
and the formed elements (mostly erythrocytes) are returned to the
donor. All donors are tested for viral markers (HBsAg, Anti-HBc,
HCV, Anti-HCV, HIV-1, Anti-HIV-1 and -2, and Anti-HTLV-1 and -2)
and found to be nonreactive. All donors are routinely screened

This diagnostic-grade product is a sterile, aqueous solution
containing 25% human albumin (w/v). It is prepared by
cold-alcohol fractionation from pooled human plasma obtained from
venous blood. The USP Pharmacopeia requires that all
fractionators add sodium caprylate and sodium tryptophanate as a
preservative.

Plasma fibronectin, also called cold-insoluble globulin or CIG,
is a component of blood plasma produced in the liver. It binds
extracellular matrix components such as collagen and fibrin and
is used as an attachment factor in cell culture. This product is
derived from human plasma.
