Comparable to B27®, Gem21 NeuroPlex™ is a chemically defined, serum -free supplement with vitamin A removed. Removing Vitamin A makes this supplement optimal for growth of embryonic and adult neural stem cells and neural precursors. When used in conjunction with our NeuroPlex™ serum-free neuronal medium, this product obviates the need for co-culture with astrocyte feeder cells. Supplied as a 50X concentrate.
