Yssel’s Medium was developed specifically for human T-cell growth with little or no use of bovine serum. It works well with small amounts of human serum (0.5-2%) and/or various interleukins. Use of Yssel’s medium eliminates the need for fetal bovine serum in T-cell cultures.
